My first theme is a tenth grade math concept, Special Right Triangles.

My second theme is The Scarlet Letter, an eleventh grade required reading for AP United States History and AP Language.

I used Listly and Scoop it for my two curation tools. I used Listly for Special Right Triangles and Scoop it for The Scarlet Letter. I liked both tools. I cannot really say that I like one more than the other. I like that Listly numbers the list. I could easily look at the page and see how many sites I had added. I like that Scoop it gives you suggestions of sites that you might want to add to your curation. I really like that both of them had tools that could be added to the browser bar. Those tools made it so much easier to add to the curation sites.
I plan to post links to these two content curations on the media center website at my school. I pulled these topics from standards and reading lists that are covered in our classrooms. I will also share them with the teachers that teach each of these subjects so they can see what I was able to find. Also, they can tell me if I need to take something off of the curation for their students.
As I was searching, I found looking at the contact link on websites was very helpful. If the contact information was not there or it emailed some random person, then I would not use the information. I also tried to look for more current information. I also looked carefully at the purpose of the site. If the purpose was not clear and did not work with my topics, I did not use it.
